2. Service Overview

DriftwoodStudio offers top-tier yacht charter services, which include but are not limited to:

• Yacht rentals for the day
• Evening cruises
• Business retreats
• Exclusive gatherings
• Extended charters

All offerings are contingent upon availability and weather conditions. We retain the authority to alter or cease services without prior notice.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

For booking a yacht charter, you must:

• Be of legal age, at least 18 years old
• Submit accurate and current information
• Remit the requisite deposit as stipulated in your booking confirmation
• Concur with these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after full payment is received along with our written acknowledgment. We reserve the prerogative to deny service to anyone at any time.

3.3 Availability

All charters are subject to vessel availability and favorable weather conditions. We will make earnest efforts to accommodate your requested dates and timings.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All fees are denoted in € and encompass all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are susceptible to modifications without prior notification.

4.2 Payment Schedule

• Initial payment: 50% of the total charter cost payable at the time of booking
• Final payment: Due 48 hours prior to the departure of the charter
• Incidental expenses (if applicable): Payable at the conclusion of the charter

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, direct bank transfers, and certified checks. Payments are processed through secure, encrypted platforms.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

• If canceled more than 72 hours before departure: Entire refund except for processing fees
• Between 24-72 hours before departure: Partial refund of 50%
• Within 24 hours of departure: No refund available

5.2 Weather Cancellations

If our captain deems the weather conditions unsafe, we will present the option to:

• Reschedule your charter with no added cost for the next accessible date
• Issue a full refund in case a reschedule is not feasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

If there's a mechanical malfunction with your assigned yacht, efforts will be made to provide a comparable vessel. If substitution is not possible, we will issue a complete refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All passengers must:

• Adhere to instructions by the crew
• Wear provided safety gear as necessary
• Inform us of medical conditions impacting their safety
• Stay within the designated areas aboard the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on board:

• Glass containers
• Illegal substances
• Weapons or firearms
• Excessive quantities of beverages (more than moderate consumption)
• Pets, unless granted permission in advance

6.3 Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. Should passenger behavior constitute a safety risk or disrupt the enjoyment of others, we reserve the right to end the charter early without a refund.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our financial responsibility is confined to the amount paid for the charter. We are not accountable for:

• Injuries incurred due to passenger recklessness
• The theft or destruction of personal property
• Indirect, resulting, or exemplary damages
• Delays as a result of weather or circumstances beyond our control

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Comprehensive marine insurance is maintained for our vessels and operations. Charter participants bear the responsibility for arranging their own travel and personal insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Partaking in our yacht services implies an understanding that nautical activities come with intrinsic hazards and you take on the responsibility for your own safety and health.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We preserve the right to make alterations to itineraries, journeys, or timetables based on weather conditions, safety measures or operational requirements. We will endeavor to provide alternatives that are of equal value.

9. Force Majeure

Occurrences outside our control, including but not limited to the list below, will not render us accountable for delays, cancellations, or alterations:

• Extreme weather
• Natural calamities
• Governmental directives
• Port restrictions
• Vessel malfunctions

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal details are treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By engaging our services, you concede to the gathering and usage of your data as delineated in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property
